In my class, you can expect: A challenging, slow-paced burn designed to build strength and stability. Every move is intentional, every transition is mindful, and every movement is an opportunity to push your limits.
What sort of music can people expect in your class? I do love the girly pop – from Madonna to Britney to Sabrina. But you can expect a variety of music – a good playlist elevates a workout, and I try to choose music that inspires the push.
If I was an ice cream flavor, I’d be: Lavender honey – fragrant and sweet.
Breakfast, lunch or dinner?: Breakfast! My first thought in the morning is what to eat!
Bird, Cat, Dog, Goldfish, Hamster or Pot Belly Pig? Doggies all the way. I have two dogs – a cheeky Chiweenie named Louie, and a sweet Spaniel mix named Gus.
When I’m not instructing Lagree: I work as an anesthesiologist in Calgary, with the majority of my time spent at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and a large part of my career dedicated to medical volunteerism.
Guilty pleasure: Peanut butter marshmallow squares (my favourite is from Lazy Loaf).
You probably didn’t know that: I’m a later-in-life fitness enthusiast! My formative years were spent as a band nerd, with group fitness classes being the first introduction to my now very active life that I love.
